Lauren Swift was crowned New Zealand’s first Young Winemaker of the Year at just 25. Raised on a Marlborough orchard, her love of grapes began early—learning to grow (and pick) them on nearby vineyards. A European gap year sparked her winemaking journey, leading to a role at Clos Henri and a Wine Science degree at EIT.

After vintages in California and the Rhône, Lauren returned home to launch Swift Wines in 2016 with husband Henry. Together, they’ve built a family-run label fuelled by passion, play, and a whole lot of wine. They believe in big dreams—and balancing them with a full glass.
